Organization of Blood Donation Camp
under Vedic Sanskar Punya Maas at O.S. D.A.V. Public School
Under the observance of “Vedic Sanskar Punya Maas,” a blood donation camp was organized at O.S. D.A.V. Public School to mark the birthday of Shri Yogi Suri Ji, the National President of Arya Yuva Samaj. The camp was conducted by the school’s National Service Scheme (NSS) unit. The program was inaugurated by the Principal, Mrs. Anju Talwar, who highlighted that a total of 42 units of blood were donated during the camp—a commendable contribution toward social service and human welfare.The entire event was successfully coordinated by the NSS volunteers under the guidance of the Principal. The Red Cross Society, Kaithal, extended special support for this noble cause. The Principal expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the donors and volunteers, stating that “Blood donation is the greatest donation.” She emphasized that it not only saves lives but also strengthens the spirit of humanity, service, and compassion in society. In order to generate sense of responsibility among the students towards the Society and Nation, various activities and projects are undertaken by the school. Apart from that to develop dignity of labour and love for down-trodden people ,the school tries to engage the students in various community service programs. Students are taken for pious and compassionate visits to Orphanage, Old age home, Leprosy Centre etc. The students themselves come forward for liberal donations in the form of Food items Clothes, medicines ,mattresses and blankets to help these deprived and underprivileged sections of society.
