The school has a wing of Scouts and Guides for class V to X .Students participate joyously in these activities and have attended Camps many times held at Tara-Devi(Shimla) and Ambala. By joining these activities feeling of Patriotism, Integrity, Compassion and Discipline is generated among the Students.
Students of O.S.D.A.V. Received Training at Scout and Guide Camp
A Seven day Guiding and Testing Camp from May 1,2025 to May 7,2025 was attended by 10 enthusiastic girls, accompanied by Mrs. Babita. Inspired by Ma'am Principal and under the valuable guidance of Mr. Kuldeep the group embarked on a journey to Tara Devi District Shimla Throughout the camp, the girls actively participated in a range of activities and gained important life skills, especially in handling challenging situations with confidence and resilience.These camps are designed to cultivate leadership qualities and practical skills among guides. Activities such as hiking, trekking, and learning scout fundamentals like the flag song and flag procedures are integral parts of the program. The camp aimed at developing well-rounded individuals equipped with leadership skills, social awareness, and a commitment to community service.


Students of O.S.D.A.V. School participated in a four-day Scout and Guide camp held from May 17 to May 20 at Tara Devi, Shimla. Around one hundred students from various government and private schools across Haryana received training for the Third Level (Tritiya Sopan) at this camp.
From O.S.D.A.V. School, Havish, Durgesh Kushagra, Kanishk, Armaan, Chinmay, Gauransh, Krish, and Abhishek underwent the Third Level training. During the camp, students learned many important skills such as helping each other during natural disasters, navigating difficult mountain terrains, building bridges using different types of knots, Scout rules, Scout pledge, and more.


Upon their return to the school, Principal Anju Talwar welcomed the Scouts and encouraged them by stating that Scout and Guide training helps students face life’s challenges, become self-reliant, live harmoniously, and learn to help others. She extended her best wishes to all the Scouts for progressing to higher levels.
