By bringing together like-minded students, math clubs create a supportive community that shares a passion for mathematics, making learning fun .

A captivating Light and Sound Show was presented by the students of Class XII on 29 July 2026, showcasing the inspiring life journeys, struggles, achievements and emotions of four great mathematicians of India—Aryabhata, Srinivasa Ramanujan, Shakuntala Devi and Bhanu ParkashThrough a creative blend of light, sound, music, dialogues, narration and acting, the students beautifully brought alive the remarkable lives and contributions of these mathematical geniuses. The presentation highlighted not only their intellectual brilliance but also the challenges, struggles and determination that shaped their journeys.
The show was honoured by the presence of Guest of Honour, Madam Principal Mrs. Anju Talwar Ji, along with the observers Mr. Sushil and Mr. Ajay Dua . Their presence added great encouragement and significance to the occasion.The plot,dialogues, acting, presentation and overall execution of the show were highly appreciated by the distinguished guests, teachers and audience. The students’ confident performances and creative presentation captivated everyone and received a huge round of applause at the conclusion.
The entire presentation was prepared under the able supervision and guidance of Ms. Shalu, whose efforts, along with the dedication and teamwork of the students, contributed greatly to the success of the programme.The Light and Sound Show proved to be an enriching and memorable experience, effectively combining education, creativity, technology and performing arts. It not only celebrated the invaluable contributions of India’s great mathematicians but also inspired students to appreciate perseverance, innovation and excellence.The event concluded on a highly appreciative note, leaving the audience impressed and inspired by the talent and hard work of the Class XII students.

*Objective*: Organizing a maths quiz promotes interest in maths, enhances problem-solving skills, and reinforces knowledge in a fun, competitive environment. It builds confidence, fosters healthy competition, and encourages collaboration among participants. The quiz serves as a platform to identify top performers, prepare for larger competitions, and recognize achievements while making learning engaging and enjoyable.

Class VIII Inter-House Maths Quiz was conducted with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. Organized meticulously by the Mathematics Department Mrs. Monika Gupta, Mrs. Bhawna,Mrs. Shweta, Mrs. Kanchan and judged by esteemed faculty members Mr. Sanjay Sharma and Mrs. Meenakshi Rana the event aimed to foster critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence among students.
There were total six rounds:
i)MCQ Round
ii)Fill in the blanks round
iii)Visualise the picture
iv) Mental ability round
v) Rapid Fire
vi) Buzzer round
Participants showcased impressive problem-solving skills and quick thinking across various rounds. The quiz not only tested mathematical aptitude but also encouraged collaboration and healthy competition.
Principal Ma'am, Mrs. Anju Talwar, congratulated the winners and applauded all participants for their commendable efforts. In her insightful and motivating speech, she highlighted the vital role mathematics plays in everyday life and academic growth. She emphasized how such competitions strengthen logical reasoning skills, boost self-confidence, and prepare students to approach challenges with clarity and courage. Madam also encouraged students to embrace mathematics as a subject that sharpens the mind and opens doors to numerous career opportunities.
The event proved to be a memorable and enriching experience for everyone involved, leaving students inspired and more confident in their mathematical abilities.
