The Entrepreneurship Club of OSDAV Public School successfully organized an inspiring and interactive awareness activity for the students of Classes VI, VII, and VIII on 8th May 2026. Under the guidance of Ms. Monika Khurana and the enthusiastic leadership of student coordinators Harshika and Saadhika, the students of Class XII visited junior classrooms to introduce young learners to the world of entrepreneurship and innovation.During the activity, students showcased a series of motivating videos based on real-life small business setups and startup success stories. The videos highlighted how ordinary individuals transformed simple and innovative ideas into successful business empires while contributing positively to society and caring for the environment. The presentations focused on creativity, sustainability, determination, and problem-solving skills.
The activity created an atmosphere of excitement and curiosity among the junior students. The young learners watched the videos with great interest and actively participated in discussions by sharing their thoughts, asking creative questions, and expressing unique business ideas of their own. Many students showed enthusiasm towards eco-friendly businesses and innovative solutions that help society as well as nature.
The session proved to be highly engaging and educational as it encouraged little minds to think creatively, dream independently, and understand the importance of innovation from an early age. The initiative successfully planted the seed of entrepreneurial thinking among students and motivated them to become confident future leaders and changemakers.The Entrepreneurship Club received an overwhelming positive response from both students and teachers, making the activity a meaningful and memorable learning experience for everyone involved.
Young India Culinary Competition

Theme : Cooking with Fire & Cooking Without Fire
Venue : School Canteen & Library Hall
A Young India Culinary Competition was organised on 30 July 2026 under the flagship of the Young India Culinary Competition, as recommended by CBSE, with the objective of nurturing students’ culinary skills, creativity, innovation, presentation and practical life skills.
Students of Classes XI and XII participated in “Cooking with Fire”, held at the School Canteen, while students of Classes VI to VIII participated in “Cooking Without Fire”, organised in the Library Hall. A large number of students participated enthusiastically and showcased their creativity through a variety of innovative and attractive dishes. The activity was supervised by Ms. Ritu Sikri and Ms. Monika Khurana.
Ms. Jagriti Madan and Ms. Rajni Grover, along with judges from I.G. College, evaluated the participants on parameters such as creativity, presentation, nutritional value, hygiene, innovation and overall execution.
Madam Principal appreciated the students wholeheartedly for their remarkable creativity, enthusiasm and innovative presentations. Her words of appreciation encouraged the participants and added to their confidence and enthusiasm.
The event provided students with a valuable platform to develop healthy eating habits, teamwork, hygiene, self-reliance and practical life skills, making the competition a meaningful and enriching learning experience.

The School Entrepreneurship Club successfully organized an engaging activity aimed at "Igniting young minds" with the spirit of entrepreneurship. The event, which took place on July 22,attracted enthusiastic participation from students eager to explore innovative ideas and develop their entrepreneurial skills.The activity was designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork among the students.

Participants were divided into small groups, each tasked with developing a unique business idea. The activity included brainstorming sessions, idea development, and presentations.

Brainstorming Session:Students were guided through a brainstorming session where they identified common problems and potential solutions that could be transformed into business opportunities.

Idea Development:Each group worked collaboratively to refine their ideas, considering factors such as target market, feasibility, and potential impact.

Presentations:The groups presented their business ideas to a panel of judges, which included teachers of commerce department. The presentations showcased the creativity and innovative thinking of the students.

The event also fostered a sense of confidence and ambition, encouraging students to think creatively and consider entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
Participation in 'Mommies Day Out' (October 26, 2024)
The Entrepreneurship Club managed 12 food stalls during the grand event, which served approximately 1,500 visitors.
Additional Initiative : Members distributed free seed bombs to promote environmental protection.
Profit Distribution : The profits earned were used to provide school bags, notebooks, pencils, and dresses to underprivileged students in slum areas, showcasing the club's commitment to social responsibility.
Awareness Sessions by Class 11 Students
Target Group: Students of science and humanities streams in various sections.
Objective : To spread awareness about entrepreneurship, its benefits, and its practical implications.
Outcome : These sessions inspired many students to explore entrepreneurship as a potential career path.
Food Stalls at Alumni Meet (October 30, 2024 )
The Entrepreneurship Club successfully organized food stalls during the Alumni Meet.
Profit Distribution: The proceeds were donated as charity, further emphasizing the club's dedication to community service.

Objective
The School Entrepreneurship Club organized an insightful and interactive session titled “Financial Inclusion ”, aimed at developing financial literacy among students of Classes XI and XII. The purpose of the event was to equip students with practical knowledge of banking, financial tools, digital payments and government schemes to manage money wisely and devlop good financial habits.

Types of Insurance Linked with Banking: Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Accidental Insurance, and Debit/Credit Card Protection
They also introduced students to essential banking terminology and digital tools such as ATM Cards, Net Banking, Credit Score, UPI, NEFT/RTGS, and KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.
In addition, the session included a special segment on government-backed financial schemes, where the speakers provided valuable insights into:
