The School Entrepreneurship Club has set the stage for future initiatives aimed at nurturing young entrepreneurs. The club plans to organize more  events to continue inspiring and empowering students to turn their ideas into reality. 
             The School Entrepreneurship Club successfully organized an engaging activity aimed at "Igniting young minds" with the spirit of entrepreneurship. The event, which took place on July 22,attracted enthusiastic participation from students eager to explore innovative ideas and develop their entrepreneurial skills.The activity was designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork among the students.
  • Participants were divided into small groups, each tasked with developing a unique business idea. The activity included brainstorming sessions, idea development, and presentations. 
  • Brainstorming Session:Students were guided through a brainstorming session where they identified common problems and potential solutions that could be transformed into business opportunities.
  • Idea Development:Each group worked collaboratively to refine their ideas, considering factors such as target market, feasibility, and potential impact.
  • Presentations:The groups presented their business ideas to a panel of judges, which included teachers of commerce department. The presentations showcased the creativity and innovative thinking of the students.
 
Outcome:
The activity was a resounding success, igniting a passion for entrepreneurship among the participants. Students gained valuable experience in idea generation, teamwork, and public speaking. The event also fostered a sense of confidence and ambition, encouraging students to think creatively and consider entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
 
Participation in 'Mommies Day Out' (October 26, 2024) 
The Entrepreneurship Club managed 12 food stalls during the grand event, which served approximately 1,500 visitors.
 Additional Initiative : Members distributed free seed bombs to promote environmental protection.
 Profit Distribution : The profits earned were used to provide school bags, notebooks, pencils, and dresses to underprivileged students in slum areas, showcasing the club's commitment to social responsibility.
 
Awareness Sessions by Class 11 Students 
Target Group: Students of science and humanities streams in various sections.
 Objective : To spread awareness about entrepreneurship, its benefits, and its practical implications.
 Outcome : These sessions inspired many students to explore entrepreneurship as a potential career path.
 
Food Stalls at Alumni Meet (October 30, 2024 )
The Entrepreneurship Club successfully organized food stalls during the Alumni Meet.
Profit Distribution: The proceeds were donated as charity, further emphasizing the club's dedication to community service.
 Conclusion :
The Entrepreneurship Club has had a fulfilling year, fostering entrepreneurial skills among students, encouraging social responsibility, and contributing to community welfare. The club aims to continue its efforts in nurturing young entrepreneurs and creating impactful initiatives in the future.
 
Report on Financial Literacy Awareness Drive

Name of the Activity : “Financial Inclusion"
 

Objective
The School Entrepreneurship Club organized an insightful and interactive session titled “Financial Inclusion ”, aimed at developing financial literacy among students of Classes XI and XII. The purpose of the event was to equip students with practical knowledge of banking, financial tools, digital payments and government schemes to manage money  wisely and devlop  good financial habits.
  
Guests & Session Highlights 

The school proudly welcomed two distinguished speakers from Punjab National Bank (PNB):
                    Mr. Jagdish, Director of the RSETI program under the Government of India
                    Mr. Ravi, Financial Expert and Associate Speaker

The speakers covered a range of key financial topics, including:
                    Types of Bank Accounts: Savings Account, Current Account, Fixed Deposit, and Recurring Deposit
                    Types of Insurance Linked with Banking: Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Accidental Insurance, and Debit/Credit Card Protection


They also introduced students to essential banking terminology and digital tools such as ATM Cards, Net Banking, Credit Score, UPI, NEFT/RTGS, and KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.

In addition, the session included a special segment on government-backed financial schemes, where the speakers provided valuable insights into:
            Pradhan Mantri Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana
            Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana
            Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana


The students were informed about the eligibility, benefits, and procedures for availing these schemes. The speakers emphasized how students and their families can benefit from these initiatives, especially in building financial security and encouraging long-term savings.

The students were also encouraged to develop saving habits and  motivated to understand the concept of "Cultivate the discipline of saving in advance, followed by judicious spending"
