On 26 December 2024, the children received a lot of applause in the children's cultural program 'Bachpan' in OSDAV Public School, Kaithal. On this occasion, tribute was paid to freedom fighter Shaheed Udham Singh ji on his 125th birth anniversary. Deputy Commissioner Kaithal, Honorable Preeti ji doubled the beauty of the program by participating as the chief guest of the program.

School manager Mr. Jai S Nain ji and Regional officer Mrs. Suman Nijhawan ji were invited as special guests. In the dignified presence of all the parents, the program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the chief guest. In this program, every student from nursery to fourth class performed on the stage andwon the hearts of the audience with their acts.

The main objective of this cultural program was to provide a platform to develop the dormant talent of children so that they can get recognition in other fields along with studies. While awarding the students who performed excellently in the field of education, the Deputy Commissioner said that teachers are the creators of the future leaders of the country and the cooperation of parents is expected in this work.

Through dance dramas, the students tried to prominently communicate burning issues like telling the difference between the new education policy and traditional methods of education, awakening consciousness in the society towards pollution, giving up mobile addiction and generating interest in old games. While praising the program and encouraging the child artists, Deputy Commissioner Madam Preeti ji said that in the modern era of competition, it has become necessary for children to participate not only in bookish knowledge but also in other fields.

This instills feelings of responsibility, cooperation and self-confidence in children. While felicitating the students who excelled in the field of education, Honorable Preeti ji said that teachers are the creators of the future leaders of the country and the cooperation of parents is also expected in this.
