OSDAV Public School Celebrates Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti with Great Enthusiasm
On April 9, the students of Class VI-A conducted a vibrant and meaningful morning assembly, celebrating both Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti in a beautifully integrated manner. The entire program was confidently managed by the children, under the guidance of their class in-charge, who also shared a thoughtful message to begin the day.
The celebration included the thought of the week, an inspiring message, and a series of impressive performances that reflected cultural pride and moral learning. Children showcased their understanding of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s role in shaping the Indian Constitution, followed by creative expressions of the Baisakhi festival through an English play on moral values, a vibrant Hindi skit, and a graceful dance performance — all brought to life with colourful costumes, props, and wholehearted participation.
The Principal Madam’s appreciation was expressed through words of encouragement, as the performances were received with immense satisfaction. It was highlighted that building confidence among children and bringing them to the front of the stage remains a key vision of the school.
