Independence Day: Celebrating Freedom with Pride
With the Tricolour soaring high, hearts swelled with pride, recalling the supreme sacrifices of our freedom fighters, as Respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Anju Talwar, hoisted the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem.
Our young learners from Balvatika onwards brought the celebrations alive with Tricolour Brush Art, Colour Mixing Magic, Global Icons of India and a patriotic dance, while Classes III and IV presented glimpses of India’s freedom struggle.
The patriotic spirit unfolded across all classes through melodious songs, energetic dances, a powerful skit and spectacular choreographies portraying Gandhiji’s movements and India’s journey towards a confident nation.
Taking pride in India’s rapid progress and economic stability, Respected Principal Ma’am urged everyone to contribute towards its journey towards becoming a developed nation.
The pleasant weather felt like a divine blessing, as everyone sang along and swayed to soulful patriotic melodies. The programme concluded with a stirring musical presentation by the teachers.
